In late 2012, it was announce that the new LeBron X sneaker will be released and may not be quite as expensive as it was initially claimed to be. It was thought that the new sneaker would retail for $315, though Matt Powell from SportsOneSource has told ESPN that the price for the shoe with Nike+ tech would actually be closer to $290.

It’s cheaper, but it’s still not great! Though, with the new shoe, you can expect full integration with your Nike + software and other devices, so to be fair, it’s going to be an interest piece of footwear.

It has also been noted, however, that the primary version of the shoe, that doesn’t come with all the technology built in, will actually be significantly less than the $300 mark, with the company actually suggesting the basic shoe will have a rough retail price of around $120, putting it in line with most other brands.
